Bousfields was retained by Monarch Corporation to provide planning services for a new master-planned community in Oakville known as Bronte Creek. The new community consisted of 1,600 units of low, medium and high-density housing interspersed with woodlots and valleyland.
Bousfields was responsible for preparing a Secondary Plan for the entire Palermo West area on behalf of three landowners, and represented the client at the Ontario Municipal Board, securing approvals for the Secondary Plan, rezoning and Draft Plan of Subdivision. Bousfields continues to act as a coordinator in the clearance of conditions and registration of the phases in relation to the subdivision.
