Lisa has extensive experience working on private and public sector development proposals throughout Toronto and the GTHA. Before joining Bousfields, Lisa was a multi-disciplinary academic, which gave her the opportunity to develop exceptional research, writing and analytical skills. As a practicing planner, Lisa has prepared planning rationales and other deliverables for a wide range of development projects. She has also planned and facilitated public consultation events and helped to develop public policy. Lisa’s facilitation and active listening skills allow her effectively communicate with and direct discussions with development teams, client groups and municipal staff to achieve excellent planning outcomes.
Lisa joined Bousfields in 2022 and holds a Master of Planning in Urban Development from Toronto Metropolitan University as well as a Bachelor of Arts (English), Master of Arts (English) and PhD (English). She has been the recipient of awards at all stages of her academic work and has published on a range of topics related to planning. Lisa is a Registered Professional Planner with the Ontario Professional Planners Institute and Full Member of the Canadian Institute of Planners.
