OVERVIEW

Bousfields was retained by Tridel to provide planning services related to a proposed mid-rise development for Delmanor Seniors Communities. Located on the north side of Dundas Street West, just east of Prince Edward Drive North, the proposal is for a 9-storey building with 160 units. The development is to be used as a seniors retirement residence, with various amenities at grade.

Bousfields prepared a planning rationale report as well as project management relating to planning approvals, including a rezoning, Site Plan approval and a technical amendment to the Official Plan. Bousfields was also engaged for urban design expertise, and prepared studies including a visual analysis and a sun/shadow study for the proposal. The project has been approved and is currently under construction, with an estimated completion date of 2014.
