OVERVIEW

Bousfields was retained by Great Gulf Homes to collaborate on the redevelopment of a property at 155–163 Dundas Street East, on the south-west corner of the Jarvis Street intersection. The proposed redevelopment is for a 43-storey residential building with a 6-storey mixed-use base. The site, located in close proximity to Dundas Station, is in an area long characterized by rundown buildings, vacant lots and a poor quality of streetscape. The redevelopment of vacant sites along both Dundas Street East and Jarvis Street represent an important opportunity for improvement and intensification.

Bousfields prepared a Planning Rationele, draft zoning by-law and provided project management services in relation to the rezoning application. The project was approved at by the City and is currently under construction.
