Ashley joined Bousfields as a Planner in July 2017, after graduating from Ryerson University’s Master of Planning program. Prior to joining the firm, Ashley worked as an Urban Planner for the St. Lawrence Market Neighbourhood Business Improvement Area, where she worked to advance public realm enhancements to the area as well as being member of the Stakeholder Advisory Groups for the King Street Pilot Study and TOcore. She also interned with the City of Markham in the Planning Policy Department.
Ashley is beginning her career in planning through immersing herself in a range of projects throughout Toronto and the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area. She assists in the preparation of planning rationale reports and associated studies, community services and facilities studies, highest and best use reports and due diligence packages, and assists with the preparation of planning evidence for senior staff appearing before the Ontario Municipal Board (OMB) and the Toronto Local Appeal Body (TLAB).
Outside of the office, Ashley is passionate about the public realm and the unique urban experience that is Toronto. She can regularly be found exploring our ever-changing city.
