Dorsa joined Bousfields in March 2018 as an urban designer. Prior to joining the firm, she worked on numerous public institutional, residential, mixed-use and urban design projects at award-winning architectural firms in Toronto and San Francisco.
She has experience in master planning, design development, and preparation of presentation drawings. Dorsa completed a bachelor’s degree in Architecture (University of Tehran-2013) and a master’s degree in Urban Design (University of Toronto-2016). Dorsa’s responsibilities at Bousfields include preparation of planning and urban design rationales related to proposed developments; developing urban design guidelines for mixed-use and commercial developments in Toronto and the GTA; conducting massing analyses, including shadow impact studies; and assisting in the preparation of planning and urban design evidence for LPAT hearings.
