Emily joined Bousfields as a Planner in July 2017, after graduating from the University of Toronto with a Masters of Science in Planning, where she specialized in Urban Planning and Development. Prior to joining the firm, Emily worked as an intern for the Toronto City Planning Division in North York Community District Planning, where she created an action plan to help guide the revitalization of the Oakwood Avenue and Vaughan Road area. She also worked as a student in the Downtown Revitalization Unit in the Town of Whitby Planning Department.
Emily is currently involved in a variety of projects throughout Toronto and the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area. She assists in the preparation of planning rationale reports and associated studies, community services and facilities studies, highest and best use reports and minor variance applications, and assists with the preparation of planning evidence for senior staff appearing before the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal (LPAT).
