Faduma joined Bousfields in November 2018. She is in the process of completing a Masters in Environmental Studies degree at York University, specializing in Urban and Regional Planning. Previously, she earned a Bachelor of Arts Honours in International Development Studies, also from York University. Prior to Bousfields, Faduma interned with UN-Water to conduct technical research, data analysis and background research on issues related to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. She also served as an intern with the Canadian Urban Institute, where she took part in projects such as the IBelongDowntown, aimed at collecting stories of Canadian downtowns to celebrate and unveil the vibrant, diversity-infused culture they hold.
