GOLI AMINI
Urban Designer

Goli joined Bousfields as an Urban Designer in 2022. She holds a Master of Urban Design (MUD) degree from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Tehran, Iran. Prior to joining Bousfields, Goli worked on various architectural projects in her hometown. She was also involved in launching an interior design-related start-up in Iran, in which the working spaces were optimized toward the employees’ efficiency.

During her studies at the University of Toronto, she worked on urban design projects focusing on master planning, policy framework design and planning, Block Plan Design, and so on. Her thesis at the University of Toronto evolved from the notion of Culture and Design in the Little Jamaica neighbourhood in Toronto, with the aim of preserving the black culture in the neighbourhood through outstanding design innovations in the public realm.

Given her projects with widely varying environmental and cultural backgrounds, Goli believes that successful designs, regardless of scale or context, are the fruit of creative minds, coherent teamwork, and smart use of tools.
