Michelle joined Bousfields in April 2018 as a Planning Intern. Subsequently, Michelle continued working part-time while completing her last year as an Urban Planning student at Ryerson University. While fulfilling her studies, Michelle won the Ted Tyndorf Award in collaboration with Bousfields with her studio team, who demonstrated integrity, outstanding vision and commitment to community planning through client-based project work and engagement with agencies and firms.
Michelle joined Bousfields as a full-time Planner in April 2019 and is now involved in a wide range of planning and urban design projects in Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area. She is actively involved in the management of various development applications and prepares planning rationale reports and associated studies and reports for Official Plan and Zoning By-law Amendments, as well as supporting materials for minor variance and site plan approval applications. She is also responsible for assisting in the preparation of evidence and materials for the Toronto Local Appeal Body (TLAB) and the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal (LPAT).
