Preet joined Bousfields in May 2021 as a co-op student while completing her Bachelor of Environmental Studies degree in Planning at the University of Waterloo, specializing in Land Development and Urban Design. She joined the firm as a full-time Urban Planner in June 2022 after graduating with honors. Previously, she worked for a Waterloo-based private developer as an Urban Planner where she assisted with several development projects across the Regional Municipality of Waterloo, including assisting with planning rationales, site-specific due diligence, and highest and best use reports.

Preet is currently involved in a wide range of projects throughout Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area. Her responsibilities at Bousfields include assisting with the preparation of planning evidence for senior staff appearing before the Ontario Land Tribunal and the Toronto Local Appeal Body, and preparing other reports and studies including Housing Issues Reports in support of Official Plan Amendment, Zoning By-law Amendment and Minor Variance applications.
