Sasha is a professional land use planner with over 10 years’ experience in the private sector. Sasha joined Bousfields in 2011 and became a Senior Associate in 2017. She holds an undergraduate degree from McGill University, and her Master’s in Urban Planning from Queen’s University. Sasha’s multi-disciplinary background in land use planning, project management, policy planning and public engagement equips her with a diverse skill-set to effectively manage a variety of projects throughout the development process.
Sasha specializes in project management, highest and best use analysis, liaising with various approval authorities, preparation and submission of planning applications including Official Plan and Zoning By-law Amendments, site plan approval, as well as minor variance and consent applications. She also provides strategic planning advice to her clients to assist them in the planning process. Sasha represents clients before municipal councils and committees, and has appeared before the Ontario Municipal Board as an expert witness.
Sasha has been involved in various development projects including commercial plazas, residential infill, high-rise condominiums, and mixed-use developments. Sasha is a Registered Professional Planner in Ontario, a full member of the Canadian Institute of Planners.
