We’re proud to be part of the team behind the proposed redevelopment of 56-60 Yonge Street!
On March 25, 2026, City Council adopted recommendations from Community Planning staff to approve Official Plan Amendment and Zoning By-law Amendment applications for the site, along with alterations to a designated heritage property, to permit a 65-storey (243.5 metres, including mechanical penthouse) mixed-use building containing 648 residential units and 68 square metres of retail space along Yonge Street. The tower partially cantilevers over an existing 8-storey designated heritage building containing a hotel at 56 Yonge Street (Hotel Victoria), which will be retained.
It was great to welcome Bousfielders to our new space in Hamilton last month and spend some time sharing the space together!

As we approach International Women’s Day, we reflect and take a moment to recognize the women whose insight and leadership shape the way our cities grow. At Bousfields, we are proud annual sponsors for Women’s Leadership Initiative - ULI Toronto (WLI) and its initiatives, advancing women in our profession. Big shoutout and thank you to our incredible interns Alley Poon, Myah Sachedina, and Leo Bridgewater wrapped up their internship experiences with us this past week!
Here are some key takeaways they noted from their time with us:
“My eight-month co-op at Bousfields has been everything I hoped for in a final internship! It’s been such a pleasure getting to know everyone, both on Team Lennox and across the firm, and to be part of an environment that values knowledge-sharing and building connections with one another beyond work. I’m incredibly thankful to everyone who took the time to teach, support, and get to know me throughout my internship. I’ve been able to reach goals I’d been working towards for a long time, and I truly appreciate the experience. I hope to see everyone again in the future!” - Alley Poon
“My time at Bousfields has been extremely memorable and has helped me grow not only as an individual, but also as a planner. I am very grateful for the team of planners who taught, coached, and believed in me throughout the past 8 months. I’m proud of the goals I’ve accomplished during this time and the hard work that went into achieving them. Thank you to everyone who has been a part of this journey; I’m excited to see where the rest of it takes me.” - Myah Sachedina
“The eight months I have spent with Bousfields has been an extremely memorable experience. Everyone across the firm makes an incredible effort to ensure interns can thrive and challenge themselves throughout the various facets of the industry. It was incredible to work together this year, and I thank everyone across the firm for their support.” - Leo Bridgewater
